Beginning fall 2023, St. John's is pleased to be starting our community children's music program once again!
The Elora Children's Choir is a welcoming choral ensemble for children ages 7+. The choir provides a supportive space for young singers to learn music-reading and musicianship skills through a variety of new music under the guidance of experienced and inspiring music educators. The choir performs several times each term at family-focused church events and casual performances in the community, and has the opportunity to collaborate with our professional adult ensemble, the Parish Choir. Although sponsored by the church, this is a community-facing program; our music is secular and inclusive, and all are welcome!
There is no registration fee to join the choir; we welcome donations to the church music fund to help support the costs of offering the choir as a community program.
Fall 2023: first rehearsal on Monday, September 18. Performance dates will be available in late August upon registration.
